About the Role:

  • Lead a team of scientists and engineers to develop innovative AI solutions for national defense and healthcare.
  • Manage the development of new research proposals to pursue high-risk, high-reward ideas.
  • Collaborate with experts across Johns Hopkins APL, JHU divisions, and the wider research community.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of project leadership experience in DoD, Cyber, or National Health-based AI settings.
  • Project management skills from concept development through execution and close out of large-scale R & D initiatives.
  • Able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
