Job Summary: Ace Hardware is seeking a highly skilled Small Engine Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine engine maintenance, inspecting engines for malfunctioning parts, and repairing or replacing worn, defective, or broken parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Discuss equipment issues, maintenance plans, and work performed with customers
  2. Perform routine engine maintenance, such as lubricating parts and replacing spark plugs
  3. Test and inspect engines for malfunctioning parts
  4. Repair or replace worn, defective, or broken parts
  5. Reassemble and reinstall components and test engines following repairs
  6. Keep records of inspections, test results, work performed, and parts used


Requirements:
  • High School or GED equivalent
  • Certification preferred but not required
  • Physical demands: standing, walking, lifting (up to 50lbs), and climbing
