About the Role

The Housekeeping Assistant is a vital member of our facilities team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our community spaces. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cleaning tasks in accordance with community policies and department standards, including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, washing, waxing, and sanitizing areas as assigned.
  • Maintain all assigned areas in a safe and clean manner, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor or leadership team.
  • Follow all regulatory compliance standards, including Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident's Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, and Fair Housing laws and regulations.
  • Assist with any resident need, as applicable, and maintain equipment and supply levels as needed, reporting supply/equipment needs to the supervisor.
Requirements
  • Must be 16 years of age or older.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the facility.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous housekeeping experience.
  • Previous experience working with seniors.
