Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced, per diem certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join their well-established national group of physicians providing care to neonates at Christus St. Michael's Hospital in Texarkana, TX.
The successful candidate will provide 24-hour, in-house coverage and care for preemies and term babies who require mechanical ventilation, nitric oxide, oscillator ventilation, and total body cooling.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to neonates in the Level-III NICU and intermediate unit
- Collaborate with neonatologists to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Manage complex medical conditions, including respiratory distress syndrome and sepsis
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety
- Current APRN national specialty certification
- Minimum of a master's degree
- Recent experience in neonatal care required
- TX license or active compact state required
