Rusnak Auto Group is a leader in the automotive industry, and we're seeking an experienced Accounting Associate to join our team in Pasadena. As an Accounting Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Post sales transactions to accounting using virtual biller for assigned locations.
  • Monitor deal activity to ensure sales are being recorded.
  • Update management team and staff on changes related to virtual biller.
  • Pull sold inventory jackets, print labels, and set aside per store until office receives original deal documents.
  • Verify deal for revenue recognition once original deal package is received in office.
  • Notify management and finance of discrepancies.
  • Review trade documents for accuracy and prepare payoff checks for deals involving trade-ins.
  • Review registration to avoid penalties and provide release of liability to DMV.
  • Maintain a neat and organized work area and process documents as mandated by office management.
  • Meet critical deadlines for financial statement reporting.
  • Assist with flooring audits as needed.
  • Reconcile lien payoff weekly.
  • Take proper care and caution when processing documents to ensure confidentiality requirements are met.
  • Verify individual identity before releasing or disclosing information regarding the sale.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for current, pending, or incomplete transactions.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in contracts, preferably in automotive contracts.
  • Automotive experience preferred.
