Internal Medicine Physician Job Description

About the Job

Adelante Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Internal Medicine Physician to join our team. As a vital member of our healthcare organization, you will provide comprehensive primary health care services to our patients, working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality health care services, including accessible and available health services to patients, education and communication, treatment, and electronic medical record entries.
  • Evaluate patients in a timely, courteous, and professional manner and complete all required documentation for billing of services provided.
  • Promote good customer service to both external and internal customers and consult, refer, and collaborate with other disciplines involved in the delivery of total patient care.
  • Assume the role and duties of other clinical personnel, as necessary, and rotate call for emergencies in the evening, and on weekends and holidays as assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited medical school program and completion of an accredited United States Internal Medicine Residency program.
  • Board certified or board eligible and valid Arizona medical license.
  • Valid DEA certificate, demonstrated understanding of clinical methods and techniques, and ability to meet and deal effectively with clients, associates, and the general public.
  • Basic business English, spelling, and punctuation skills and basic computer efficiency.
