Home Health Director

Job Summary
Covenant Home Health is seeking a skilled Home Health Director to lead our team in providing exceptional home health services to residents of Maricopa County, Arizona. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the direction, coordination, and general supervision of all home health services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the home health agency, including planning, organizing, and evaluating operations.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
- Maintain ongoing liaison with the Governing Body and implement Governing Body directives.
- Recruit, employ, and retain qualified personnel.
- Supervise department staff, providing guidance, training, staff development, and feedback to the home health team.
- Develop and maintain positive business and resident relationships.
- Collaborate with leadership of communities utilizing agency services.
- Monitor benchmarks and implement budget disbursements according to expenditure procedures and budget guidelines.
- Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis.
- Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident information.
- Ensure standards of ethical business and clinical practice are maintained.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree is preferred, with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Home Health Director.
- Experience in multi-family or senior retirement settings is preferred.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
- Possess the ability to make independent decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have strong knowledge of state regulations, Medicare Conditions of Participation, and other applicable regulations.
- Possess knowledge of competitive markets and demographics in surrounding areas.
- Must be knowledgeable of administrative practices, procedures, and guidelines.
- Superior leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to work harmoniously with other personnel.
- Possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.
- Be able to follow written and oral instructions.
- Must be knowledgeable of computers and knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and TEAMS.
- Wellsky experience is preferred.
- Knowledgeable with home health benchmark and best practices.
