About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Design Engineer to join our team at Advanced Solutions & Controls LLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing controls systems for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop controls systems for industrial automation applications
  • Develop and modify electrical schematics and panel layouts using CAD tools
  • Specify all control panel components, including electrical components and calculations
  • Network drawings and system architecture drawings
  • Interface directly with internal resources, customers, and engineering firms
  • Develop and modify drawings using various versions of AutoCAD
  • Interpret P&ID, process flows, specifications, and other system design documentation
  • Provide control panel designs compliant with required industry standards
  • Maintain current knowledge of control panel design and drafting procedures
Requirements
  • 5+ years of applicable job experience in Controls Design Engineering
  • PLC controls and instrumentation experience
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic experience
  • 5+ years' experience in panel design and drawing development using AutoCAD
  • Associates or better in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Competency in Teamwork, Organization, Critical/Analytical Thinking
