Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing bread and pastry recipes from scratch, portioning product, and following recipes. They will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare bread and pastry recipes from scratch.
  • Portion product and follow recipes.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment.
  • Availability to work weekends and some holidays.
  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant.

Requirements

  • 2+ years high-volume restaurant experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Eye for detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
