Job Title: Youth Program Manager

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Program Manager to lead our youth workforce development programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of programs that align with our organizational goals and meet the needs of local youth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise a team of Youth Career Advisors and Work-Based Learning staff at multiple locations, ensuring they have the necessary tools, resources, and guidance to perform their roles effectively.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of youth workforce programs, including career guidance, education planning, job readiness training, internships, and work-based learning opportunities.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations for staff to ensure high-quality service delivery and promote professional development opportunities.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between Youth Career Advisors and Work-Based Learning staff to deliver integrated services.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators related to youth program outcomes, including job placements, retention rates, and educational achievements.
  • Collaborate with local schools, community organizations, and employers to build partnerships that enhance work-based learning opportunities and career pathways for youth.
  • Ensure program compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as funder requirements.
  • Represent Equus Workforce Solutions at community meetings, events, and youth-focused initiatives to raise awareness of available services and promote partnerships.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Education, Social Work, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in workforce development, youth services, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of youth workforce development programs, including education and employment pathways, work-based learning, and career readiness.
  • Experience managing staff across multiple locations and providing remote support when necessary.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
