ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a dedicated Contact Center Agent I to leverage their knowledge of CO-OP's offerings to deliver exceptional service to Credit Union employees and members. This role is crucial in achieving performance goals and fulfilling the requirements for career advancement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will:

  • Handle incoming calls from members, utilizing tools and resources to effectively address inquiries.
  • Maintain a high standard of service while meeting performance benchmarks.
  • Exhibit professionalism and composure in challenging situations.
  • Foster productive relationships with team members.
  • Uphold a positive and professional image of CO-OP's Call Centers.
  • Engage in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and procedural understanding.

QUALIFICATIONS

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Basic computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong customer service aptitude.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to interpret information accurately and demonstrate problem-solving capabilities.
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with some post-secondary education being advantageous.
