Job Overview


As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will operate advanced diagnostic imaging equipment to generate contrast-enhanced radiographs of the heart and vascular system (angiograms) during cardiac catheterization procedures. Your expertise will support physicians in their diagnostic assessments and treatment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Your role encompasses both direct and indirect patient care, along with essential tasks such as:

  • Monitoring and reporting on quality control measures
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting imaging equipment
  • Assisting in Electrophysiology (EP) cases
  • Transitioning patients from portable oxygen to wall oxygen as needed
Educational Requirements

Minimum:
Completion of a Radiology Technology Program.

Preferred:
Specialized training in a catheterization laboratory.

Certifications and Licenses

Must hold certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and possess a valid Healthcare Provider CPR certification.

Experience

Minimum:
At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist.

Preferred:
Two years of experience in invasive/interventional radiology or within a comprehensive Cardiac Cath Lab.

Additional Requirements

Responsible for the safe handling, transport, and management of medications, including both prescription and non-prescription types. Additionally, you will ensure the safe handling of sharp instruments such as needles, suture kits, lancets, and syringes.

This position is classified as Non-Exempt.
