Senior Surgical Technologist

UC Health is seeking a highly skilled Senior Certified Surgical Technologist to join our Operating Room Team 5 at UC Medical Center.
This is a full-time position with a 7a-3:30p FLEX schedule. We are offering a $25,000 Sign-On Bonus.
About the RoleThe Senior Certified Surgical Technologist will support the University of Cincinnati Medical Center's operating room (OR) and Greater Cincinnati's only Level I Trauma Center, delivering high-quality care to patients based on assessed needs.
Primary responsibilities include performance of specific tasks as a scrub technologist and/or during surgical procedures to facilitate the efficient and safe progress of the surgical case.
- Assists with the maintenance of surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Maintains positive customer relations.
- Demonstrates competency and possesses the technical skills appropriate for assigned cases and utilizes that knowledge in assisting others.
- Performs various duties within their scope of responsibility and is accountable to the Clinical Nurse Manager in the Operating Room.
