### Key Responsibilities

* Support the surgical team in the Operating Room, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff
* Maintain asepsis and adhere to infection control protocols
* Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and transfer
* Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure accurate and timely completion of procedures
* Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and technologies

### Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in surgical technology preferred
* 6 months to 2 years of active experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
* Certification by the Association of Surgical Technologists (AST) and maintenance of that certification
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
