Position Summary

Security Clearance Requirement:
Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph is mandatory.
Role Description: This full-time role entails a commitment of 1880 hours annually, with responsibilities conducted at the designated customer site. As a Security Analysis Support Systems Engineer, you will leverage current industry best practices in Systems Engineering to deliver security engineering and authorization services solutions. This involves utilizing updated methodologies and aligning solutions with Risk Management Framework (RMF) capabilities, all while adhering to government and customer policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in formulating long-term strategies and gathering requirements to enhance customer RMF authorization services, addressing recurring cybersecurity issues identified by the customer OIG.
  • Support initiatives aimed at refining processes and capabilities for oversight, management, and compliance concerning COA3's, User Activity Monitoring (UAM), Data Transfer Agency (DTA) capabilities, Vulnerability Management, and other cybersecurity compliance areas highlighted for improvement by the OIG.
  • Monitor and facilitate the resolution of all customer-related audit and inspection findings.
  • Proactively identify potential problem areas that may arise during future audits and inspections.

Required Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field, accompanied by a minimum of 6 years of systems engineering experience. A Master's or PhD may substitute for two years of experience.
  • Alternatively, a High School Diploma or GED with 10 years of systems engineering experience is acceptable.

Essential Skills:
  • Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
  • Position necessitates TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, system security authorizations, and Risk Management Framework processes.
  • Extensive experience in systems engineering disciplines, system integration, project management, architecture development, and mission use case analysis.
  • Proven capability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders to address mission and technical challenges.
  • Self-motivated with meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
