Key Responsibilities:
As an instructor, you will provide the expertise and knowledge necessary to support the college's curriculum and programs. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Establishing courses that adhere to recognized higher education standards.
  • Employing a diverse range of effective teaching methodologies to engage students and foster learning.
  • Evaluating student progress and providing timely feedback.
  • Maintaining accurate student records and submitting necessary reports.
  • Reviewing and recommending educational materials.
  • Teaching at various times and locations as required by institutional needs.
  • Utilizing technology effectively in the classroom and exploring innovative instructional methods.

Academic Advising:
Maintain professional relationships with students and colleagues. Offer guidance on academic and program-specific issues, and assist students in navigating their educational paths.

Professional Development:
Set annual goals for professional growth in collaboration with the department chair. Stay updated on developments in the field and participate in self-evaluation processes.

Institutional and Community Engagement:
Participate in institutional service activities and contribute to departmental and college committees. Engage in community activities that promote the mission of the institution and uphold accreditation standards.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
  • A Master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in business, preferably in fields such as Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, Logistics, or Management.
  • A minimum of three years of professional experience in business administration, with a focus on one of the preferred fields.
  • Two semesters of college-level teaching experience is preferred.

  • The ability to teach all courses within the Business Administration curriculum.
  • Competence in working within a diverse environment.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
