Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative/BDC Agent to join our team at Modern Auto CO. The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, ensuring maximum ROI on internet/phone leads, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with customers and prospects through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Schedule appointments and sales, maintaining a reasonable level of productivity compared to other BDRs.
  • Maintain an average of 80 outbound calls per day, following up and responding to internet leads in a timely manner.
  • Deliver messages to other departments promptly and maintain a customer database using our CRM tool.
  • Enter data into required tools and possess thorough knowledge of electronic tools and lead sources.
  • Stay up-to-date on dealership products and services, as well as federal, state, and local laws governing retail automobile sales.
  • Direct customers to product information resources, including those available online.
  • Establish personal sales goals aligned with dealership standards and devise strategies to meet those goals.
  • Attend product and sales training as requested by the Business Development Manager.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Two plus years of related experience and/or training, or a combination of education and experience.
Communication Skills
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, reports, and memos.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and other employees.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest, tax, etc.
Reasoning Ability
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
