Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team. As a Fire Sprinkler Designer, you will be responsible for preparing NFPA compliant fire sprinkler shop drawings utilizing AutoCAD. You will work closely with our Design Manager to ensure that all designs meet or exceed customer and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare fire protection design drawings and hydraulic calculations for commercial and residential buildings in compliance with applicable codes.
  • Assist in surveying existing fire protection systems and drawing preparation.
  • Develop knowledge of fire sprinkler system components, hazard analysis, fluid hydraulics, and code compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure successful project execution.
  • Project site coordination of sprinkler pipe installation.
Requirements
  • 1 to 3 years of fire sprinkler design experience.
  • Mechanical and mathematical aptitude with strong desire to excel.
  • Proven Autocad 2018 or higher proficiency and ability to learn new software.
  • Computer fluency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
