Job Title: ABA Therapist or Behavioral Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate ABA Therapist or Behavioral Technician to join our team at RCG Behavioral Health Network. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with children with special needs, providing individualized support and implementing evidence-based interventions to promote positive behavior and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct services to clients, implementing daily activities as outlined in individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Behavior Analyst.
  • Support and provide family training, integrating behavioral modification strategies to be implemented in the home and natural environment.
  • Complete all required documentation, including behavioral data, daily notes, and weekly billing records in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Utilize safe and appropriate safety management protocols when working with clients.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other service providers to ensure consistency among client families and caregivers.
  • Participate in weekly supervision with a Behavior Analyst to discuss client updates, progress, or concerns.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Associates degree or higher in a related field, such as social work, psychology, or counseling.
  • Experience working with individuals with special needs, particularly those with autism and related diagnoses.
  • Ability to remain under the supervision of a training supervisor and mentor for at least 180 days, contingent on completing a competency-based training package.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to participate in and follow prescribed crisis management techniques.
  • Ability to quickly change direction to stay with clients.
  • Ability to independently go from a seated to a standing position.
