Clinical Education Specialist (RN)

Key Responsibilities of a Clinical Education Specialist:

Develop and execute comprehensive onboarding and orientation programs for new hires to ensure they achieve necessary competencies and provide high-quality care.

Monitor the progress of new hires, engage in evaluations, and offer ongoing education to facilitate their success in their roles.

Design and conduct training programs, CEUs, and in-services to meet staff development needs and hospital requirements, collaborating with HR and the Management Team.

Oversee the Healthstream system to deliver education across the hospital, including organizing the Annual Competency Fair and other institution-wide training sessions and in-services.

Job Requirements:
Current RN license to practice in the State of Delaware (or eligible for renewal).

A minimum of three years of experience in staff education and training is required; healthcare training and education experience is highly preferred. Must become a facilitator/administrator of Handle With Care, Verbal De-Escalation, HealthStream, and Service Excellence within a year of accepting the role; CPR Instructor certification is a plus.
