KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and allocate trade assignments based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with the client's team to review and monitor project schedules, ensuring critical tasks are prioritized.
- Document and report field issues affecting budget, quality, or schedule to the project management team.
- Address subcontractor inquiries regarding field-related issues impacting project metrics.
- Guide the implementation of the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program.
- Work closely with the on-site safety team to ensure compliance with safety regulations among subcontractors.
- Develop and maintain a succession plan for high-potential tradesmen in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
- Assist the Project Executive, Construction Manager, and Project Manager in formulating logistics plans and schedules during the pre-construction phase.
- Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in construction, specifically in MEP or General Superintendent roles for mission-critical projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in software applications such as Microsoft Office, SAP, and SharePoint.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to travel frequently, exceeding 50% of the time.
- Familiarity with construction divisions from concrete to finishing trades.
- Ability to foster effective relationships within the project team and across the organization.
- Keep field team members informed and engaged in decision-making processes.
- Recognize and address client needs effectively.
- Identify opportunities to enhance project value.
- Adaptability to changing company needs.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
- Hourly rate ranges from $45.00 to $65.00, based on experience.
- Preference for local candidates; per diem offered for those residing beyond a specified distance from the project site.
