Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical direction and oversight to our skilled nursing facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team, including nurse practitioners and physician assistants, to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct regular rounds at our facilities to ensure high-quality patient care and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and develop strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce readmissions.
  • Supervise and mentor our clinical staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements
  • Board certification in a relevant medical specialty.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a medical director or leadership role in a skilled nursing facility or post-acute care setting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
