About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our Home Health team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injury, illness, or surgery, and regain their independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and direct speech/language pathology services to patients in their homes or facilities
  • Develop and review treatment plans to ensure patients receive the best possible care
  • Administer and interpret diagnostic tests and therapeutic treatments to assess and treat speech, language, hearing, and swallowing disorders
  • Provide instruction and training to patients on alternative communication systems and counsel patients, families, and healthcare staff on speech and language issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation and submit reports as required by the company and facility
Requirements
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
  • Minimum of six months experience as a speech therapist/speech language pathologist
  • Home Health experience a plus
  • Current and unrestricted license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
