Position: Receiving & Inventory Associate
Reports To: Director of Warehouse Operations
Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey
Shift: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with potential extended hours until 5 pm, subject to management approval.
Breaks: A 30-minute lunch break at 12 noon and two 15-minute breaks at 10 am and 2 pm.
Compensation: Starting at $18 - Temp to permanent position contingent on performance and attendance after 90 days.
Role SummaryAs a Receiving and Inventory Associate at CENMED ENTERPRISES INC., you will operate within a 15,000-square-foot warehouse environment, focusing on receiving, unloading, and loading inventory while fulfilling pick and pack orders.
Your responsibilities will include general tasks that involve the physical handling of products, materials, supplies, and equipment. You will also provide support to various warehouse roles as necessary, including production and service support.
We are looking for candidates with prior warehouse experience, preferably from large retail, third-party logistics (3PL), or distribution centers.

- Prepare and package all contracted spare parts, sub-assemblies, or finished goods for customers, vendors, and other locations, both domestically and internationally.
- Receive and acknowledge incoming freight, ensuring materials are identified, counted, and properly designated. Report any damages to the supervisor.
- Package and ship outgoing materials according to shipping instructions, verifying counts and addresses, and preparing necessary shipping documentation.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks such as filing and retrieving paperwork, handling return goods, and maintaining an organized workspace.
- Provide local transportation services for pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with 6S standards.
- Exhibit regular attendance, safe task execution, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by warehouse leadership.
- 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations within wholesale or retail distribution or a related field.
- Familiarity with warehousing and inventory management processes.
- Ability to read and comprehend shipping documents.
- Strong numerical skills and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
