Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all safety and housekeeping protocols consistently.
  • Maintain professionalism in interactions with K-FLEX USA associates, customers, and suppliers.
  • Review daily inventory reports to ensure adequate material supply, preventing manufacturing disruptions.
  • Create and issue purchase orders to selected suppliers, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Monitor usage of raw materials and packaging, adjusting minimum and maximum levels as necessary.
  • Identify and resolve purchasing-related issues, including quality, scheduling, and invoicing concerns.
  • Communicate process improvements to the Director of Operations.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the highest quality products, timely deliveries, competitive pricing, and innovative solutions.
  • Organize and maintain all purchasing documentation systematically.
  • Effectively communicate with all departments and external suppliers regarding purchasing matters.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree in business management, procurement, supply chain, or a related field with at least 1 year of experience.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9000 standards is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in negotiating with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to perform calculations involving discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
  • Capable of resolving issues and adapting to changing situations under pressure.
  • Computer literacy for scheduling and data management, including ERP systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for conflict resolution and collaboration.
  • Solid analytical skills for forecasting production needs.
  • Ability to work in an organized manner and meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
