Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all safety and housekeeping protocols consistently.
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions with K-FLEX USA associates, customers, and suppliers.
  • Review daily inventory reports to ensure adequate material supplies to meet customer demands and prevent manufacturing disruptions.
  • Create and submit purchase orders to relevant suppliers, ensuring compliance with company standards for products and services.
  • Monitor the usage of raw materials and packaging, adjusting minimum and maximum levels as necessary.
  • Identify and resolve purchasing-related issues, including quality, scheduling, or invoicing concerns.
  • Communicate process improvements to the Director of Operations.
  • Negotiate with suppliers of raw materials and packaging with a focus on:
    • Highest product quality.
    • Timely product delivery.
    • Most competitive pricing.
    • Supplier innovation.
  • Maintain organized filing of all purchasing documentation.
  • Effectively communicate with all departments and external suppliers regarding purchasing matters in a timely manner.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, or
  • A Bachelor's degree in business management, procurement, supply chain, or a related field with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9000 standards is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in negotiating with suppliers to secure optimal pricing aligned with company objectives.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to perform calculations involving discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volume, and foreign currencies, along with basic algebra and geometry concepts.
  • Capable of resolving issues and adapting to various changing situations under pressure.
  • Computer literacy in scheduling and data management, including proficiency in the company's ERP system.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external customers to achieve organizational goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to navigate conflicting interests and foster cooperation.
  • Solid analytical skills for forecasting and anticipating production needs and capabilities.
  • Organized work habits with the ability to complete assignments punctually.
Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
