Job Overview

Utah Flour Milling (UFM) is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Equipment Specialist to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment, maintaining the physical assets of our property, and upholding food/feed safety standards.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Job

This is a day shift position with the requirement to be open to being on call evenings and weekends if needed. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in an agriculture industry setting.

  • Lead and execute daily reliability excellence and maintenance activities, adhering to employee safety and food/feed safety policies and procedures.
  • Support proper maintenance and repair of all plant/buildings and grounds equipment, including troubleshooting, preventive, and predictive maintenance.
  • Assist with scheduling maintenance plans and uploading, downloading, configuring, modifying, and troubleshooting PLC programs and process instruments.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Computerized Maintenance Management System experience.
  • 2 years of experience leading a technical maintenance team.
  • Predictive maintenance experience is preferred.
  • A strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics, along with the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley software is highly beneficial.
