About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Mary's Woods. As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals while creating a clean and welcoming environment for residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with setting up tables and seating residents in a timely and efficient manner
  • Prepare and serve food in all areas of the Health Services department, adhering to high standards of quality and cleanliness
  • Demonstrate knowledge of residents' dietary preferences and honor their requests to ensure exceptional customer service
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the kitchen and dining area, adhering to health and safety guidelines
  • Develop and maintain a genuine interest in geriatric care and uphold the spirit and mission of our organization
  • Possess a Food Handler Permit and CPR/First Aid and AED certification, obtained within a month of employment
  • Previous experience in a Senior Living community is preferred but not required
