Structural Engineer Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer Lead to join our team at Gus Perdikakis Associates. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading structural engineering projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead structural engineering projects from conceptual design to completion
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineers to ensure seamless project execution
  • Develop and implement structural analysis and design models using software such as STAAD, RAM, and RISA
  • Prepare and review structural construction drawings and specifications
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, including IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI design requirements

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in a lead or managerial role
  • PE license preferred but not required
  • Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design software, including AutoCAD and Revit
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
