Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled EMT to join our team as a Clinic Support Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our healthcare teams.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general patient care duties, including vital sign collection, medication administration, and specimen collection.
  • Prepare patients for healthcare providers by completing intake duties and documenting reason for visit.
  • Collect and prepare ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • Clean and sterilize instruments, ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients.
  • Escalate non-routine issues, questions, and concerns timely and appropriately.
  • Ensure safety checklists and quality controls are completed as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • State-approved EMT training program graduate.
  • One of the following licenses issued from the state of employment: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT), or Emergency Medical Technician-I (EMT-I).
  • Active status on Nebraska Medication Aide Registry within 90 days of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
