Surgical Services Department Overview
The Surgical Services Department at Barnes-Jewish Hospital provides pre-op and post-op inpatient care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the areas of ENT and plastic surgery. Our team of experienced healthcare professionals works collaboratively to deliver exceptional patient care and outcomes.

Estimated Salary Range
$83,000 - $110,000 per year

About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our Surgical Services Department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and be committed to collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.
- Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
- Educates patients and their families on how to manage their illness or injury, including post-treatment home care needs and medication administration.

Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
- BSN degree preferred, but not required.
- At least 1 year of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in surgical services.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
