Overview

Nestle Operational Services Worldwide SA is a leading manufacturer of healthcare products, and we're seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. This role involves setting up and operating tablet press machines to produce high-quality products.

About the Role

We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual with experience in mechanical or manufacturing machine operation. As a Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for:

  • Disassembling, cleaning, and assembling various tablet-press and compression machines
  • Maintaining the working condition of these machines
  • Starting up production runs after completing setup processes
  • Detecting issues during setup and resolving them efficiently
  • Keeping accurate logbooks and entering start-up and in-process information into batch records
  • Operating tablet-press and compression machines based on business demands
  • Handling material handling equipment like Palette Jacks and Manual Lifts
  • Ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), safety requirements, and procedures
  • Covering for operators during breaks and absences
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 2 years of prior mechanical or manufacturing machine operator experience
  • Prior manufacturing or pharmaceutical experience is preferred
Salary and Benefits
