About the Job

The Tablet Press Set-Up role at Nestle Operational Services Worldwide SA involves setting up and operating various tablet press and compression machines to produce high-quality healthcare products. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of our company.

Responsibilities

As a Machine Operator, your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Setting up and operating tablet press machines to produce high-quality products
  2. Maintaining the working condition of these machines
  3. Starting up production runs after completing setup processes
  4. Detecting issues during setup and resolving them efficiently
  5. Keeping accurate logbooks and entering start-up and in-process information into batch records
  6. Operating tablet-press and compression machines based on business demands
  7. Handling material handling equipment like Palette Jacks and Manual Lifts
  8. Ensuring adherence to SOPs, cGMPs, safety requirements, and procedures
  9. Covering for operators during breaks and absences
Requirements and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 2 years of prior mechanical or manufacturing machine operator experience
  • Prior manufacturing or pharmaceutical experience is preferred
  • A high school diploma or equivalent education
  • Basic mathematical skills and technical aptitude
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

This position offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
