Job Summary

The Anesthesia Nurse Senior Specialist will be responsible for administering anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and obstetrical procedures in an operating room or outside the OR. Working closely with a faculty member from the Department of Anesthesia & Perioperative Care, you will provide expert care to patients while ensuring the highest level of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and obstetrical procedures
  • Work under the medical direction and billing collaboration of a faculty member from the Department of Anesthesia & Perioperative Care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and possession of a valid Registered Nurse license in California
  • Completion of a master's degree from an accredited Nurse Anesthetist program
  • Active National Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
