About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Dermatology Coding Specialist to join our team at Health Advocates Network, Inc. This is a full-time, work-from-home position with a flexible day schedule within the Arizona time zone after training.

Key Responsibilities

- Work under the close supervision of the Coding Supervisor abstracting coding from medical records to be sent to billing

- Analyze and evaluate data elements from patients' electronic records and assign applicable procedural and diagnoses coding while following all written coding policies and procedures and all regulatory CMS compliance regulations

- Perform audits, produce analytic reports, and provide education as needed to ensure correct coding and clean claims

Requirements

- 3+ years of recent E/M coding experience required

- Dermatology coding experience required

- CPC certification required

- Must provide equipment

- High school diploma or GED required

- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen
