Oncology Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our comprehensive, multidisciplinary practice at Providence Oncology and Hematology Care Clinic. In this generalist role, you will focus on the diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of patients with cancer, working collaboratively with a care team consisting of RNs, Patient Navigators, Social Workers, Nutritionists, Integrative Medicine, Palliative Care, Clinical Pharmacy, and other support staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with cancer, including diagnosis, assessment, and treatment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to inform treatment decisions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and symptom control.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in oncology or hematology, or previous clinical/nursing experience in hematology-oncology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
- Current licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
