About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Catering-Banquet Server to join our team at AEG. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our clients and ensuring their events are executed with precision and flair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Table Setting and Service: Set tables to meet function specifications, deliver necessary equipment and beverages, and serve food and beverages to clients in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Event Execution: Quietly remove china, glassware, and silverware from meal areas, deliver dirty items to the dish washing station, and return equipment and unused beverages to storage locations.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards and complete other duties as assigned by the Catering Supervisor.
Requirements
  • Age and Education: Must be at least 18 years of age and have a basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
  • Communication Skills: Must be able to read, speak, and write English in order to communicate with guests and have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks.
  • Lifting and Mobility: Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, and perform tasks requiring constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Alcohol Awareness: Knowledge of responsible serving practices and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
