Position Overview
We are seeking to expand our team with a skilled Escrow Officer at our Santa Rosa, CA branch. In this role, you will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment focused on customer satisfaction and successful deal closures. This position demands exceptional decision-making abilities, strong communication skills, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute real estate escrow transactions by identifying requirements.
- Serve as a neutral intermediary between involved parties, adhering to company policies while managing and mitigating risks.
- Ensure accurate accounting and disbursement of all funds according to contractual terms and company policies.
- Generate regular reports on escrow account status and communicate these to all transaction parties.
- Review property titles, mortgages, and trust deed documents.
- Draft legal documents necessary for transaction closure.
- Finalize closings by recording and filing documents, preparing, and distributing final closing statements and titles.


Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in escrow-related roles.
- Previous experience directly managing escrow transactions as an escrow assistant is preferred.
- Willingness to embrace new technologies and proprietary systems; adaptable to new workflows.
- A strong desire to assist customers while maintaining a professional and positive demeanor.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with both internal teams and external clients effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail, with the ability to navigate resources to resolve issues.
- A collaborative spirit, contributing to a team focused on exceeding customer expectations.
- Comfortable mentoring and supporting emerging talent in the field.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and quick to adapt to new software applications and technologies.
- Valid licensing/certification as required by applicable state regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Compensation:
Hourly rate of $41.78.

This range represents a reasonable estimate of the base pay for this position at the time of posting. Compensation is influenced by various factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business needs, and geographic location.
