Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Lincoln Community Hospital and Nursing Home.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, residents, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and disinfect patient rooms, clinics, and offices
  • Empty trash containers, dust furniture and fixtures, and mop floors
  • Perform periodic cleaning tasks, including high dusting and cleaning of doors, windows, and baseboards
  • Follow policies and procedures for cleaning surgery rooms and isolation areas
  • Participate in in-services and training sessions on safety, infection control, and cleaning techniques
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
Work Environment

The work environment is quiet and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
