Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Patient Care Volunteer to join our team. As a volunteer, you will work closely with our patients and their families to provide emotional support, practical assistance, and companionship.

Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Help with light housekeeping and laundry
  • Accompany patients to appointments and errands
  • Provide respite care for family caregivers
Qualifications
  • Willingness to complete hospice training program and orientation
  • Ability to bend, stoop, climb stairs, lift, and carry 40+ pounds
  • Discretion, honesty, and respect for patients' privacy and dignity
Work Schedule

Our volunteers work a flexible part-time schedule, Monday to Friday.
