As a Senior Biomedical Technician III at GE Healthcare, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers by evaluating, diagnosing, and repairing complex biomedical equipment. Your expertise will ensure that our customers' medical devices are functioning optimally, supporting their ability to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate customer biomedical equipment issues and implement effective repairs to ensure optimal device performance.
- Perform planned maintenance and safety inspections to prevent equipment downtime and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communication and follow-up to ensure ongoing satisfaction.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
- Document all work performed to ensure accurate records and compliance.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Associates degree, Bachelor's degree, military education, or High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of experience servicing medical equipment.
- 4+ years of experience servicing medical equipment.
- Knowledge of electronic digital circuitry and understanding of electronic and electro-mechanical devices.
- Experience interpreting schematic diagrams.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
We are looking for candidates who can:
- Be available after-hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends.
- Lift and move up to 35lbs.
