Aircraft Structures Mechanic Job Description

Job Title: Aircraft Structures Mechanic (F-35)

This position is at Air Station Iwakuni, Japan. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing O-Level Corrosion control on 5th generation Fighter Jets (F-35 Aircraft).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Outer Mold Line (OML) inspections, coating system repair, and corrosion control inspections.
  • Coordinate maintenance efforts with Maintenance Operation Center (MOC) to ensure timely return of aircraft to mission capable status.
  • Plan and coordinate shop workload and dispatch personnel as required.
  • Ensure that assigned personnel have access to and use adequate technical data during all phases of aircraft maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Active secret clearance.
  • Need to produce DD-214, and if possible, training records / VMAT.
  • Must have 1+ years' experience on fifth generation fighter Jet (F-22/F-35).
  • FA-18 Superhornets from the Navy can work possibly / will be considered.

Benefits:

  • 37.03-$40.40/Hour With Shift Differential.

  • If traveling from outside of Japan, your initial travel lodging and flight cost are paid for a solo traveler for hire.

  • Able to participate in the company's retirement plan following 90 days of service in accordance with company policy.
  • One solo employee annual round trip fare back to the United States following six months of employment.
