About the Role

We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated professionals to join our Critical Infrastructure Security Team as Port Security Officers in Tampa Bay. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in protecting our homeland and assets under Homeland Security guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide security services for commercial and industrial locations in Tampa Bay
  • Control access to secured areas and ensure the safety of personnel and assets
  • Work in partnership with Local and Federal Law Enforcement to maintain a secure environment
  • Participate in maritime security enforcement guidelines and regulations
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Florida Class D Unarmed License
  • Transportation Worker Identification Credential (T.W.I.C.)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving history
  • Minimum one year of work experience in security or supervisory-related positions
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, overnights, weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable transportation and smartphone with internet access
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
  • Strong English communication skills, including reading and writing
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background investigation
Preferred Skills
  • Working knowledge of maritime security enforcement guidelines
  • CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Prior veteran, military, or law enforcement experience
