Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the organization towards a unified systems and processes approach across various plants.
  • Develop and maintain process flow diagrams, PFMEAs, control plans, and work instructions.
  • Conduct time studies and optimize line balancing.
  • Oversee tool/machine setup, verification, and troubleshooting.
  • Implement best practices for material flow and layout.
  • Lead corrective actions and proactive quality and efficiency enhancement initiatives.
  • Guide the development and implementation of processing best practices based on thorough data analysis.
  • Support new product launches, equipment installations, and other significant projects while adhering to safety, environmental, quality, and cost targets.
  • Collaborate with various departments to establish best-in-class manufacturing engineering practices.
  • Monitor production metrics, including rejection rates, scrap, cleanliness, safety, and working conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards set by the Quality Department.
  • Foster a customer-centric approach while enforcing safety and environmental protocols.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or a related discipline is required.
  • Proficient in operating various tools, equipment, and machinery.
  • Computer skills in MS Windows and MS Office are essential.
  • A hands-on, ethical, and articulate leader capable of acting with urgency to meet business objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and adapt to different audiences.
  • Proven ability to gain respect and influence at all organizational levels, driving significant performance improvements.
  • In-depth understanding of process control and manufacturing systems, with experience in their implementation.
  • Previous experience in overseeing major capital improvement projects within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • A steadfast commitment to safety in the workplace.
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to stand, sit, bend, and kneel.
  • Frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle tools, machines, and equipment.
