Position: Cyber Threat Intel Analyst
As a vital member of our team, the Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst will engage in comprehensive analysis of pertinent threats to safeguard our client’s digital environment. This role is essential in enhancing the defensive strategies through detailed insights into adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), thereby supporting the Network Security Monitoring and Incident Response teams.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily assessments of cyber threat notifications, advisories, alerts, and incident reports.
- Investigate emerging security threats and provide analysis on trends in cyber incident activities.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of adversary operations, including their tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Communicate significant events to relevant agencies regarding intrusions and compromises affecting network systems.
- Deliver cyber threat evaluations based on thorough analysis, coordinating with other organizations and governmental bodies.
- Compile and produce detailed investigation and analysis reports.
- Develop and maintain internal standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure compliance with applicable policy directives and standards.
- Participate in program reviews, product assessments, and on-site certification evaluations.
- Support incident response initiatives as needed.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% may be required.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) environment or a related field.
- Experience in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting both qualitative and quantitative data.
- Background in Cyber operations, information warfare, or related cyber expertise.
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- At least 5 years of experience in a CSSP environment or similar.
- Proficient in creating comprehensive reports based on complex technical analyses for diverse audiences.
- Ability to identify patterns in complex threat actor behaviors and articulate current and emerging cyber threats.
- Skilled in utilizing online research tools to navigate various information sources.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP network protocols.
- Self-driven with a strong passion for cybersecurity.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including experience briefing senior leadership.
- Experience with analytical tools such as Splunk, Elastic, or other threat intelligence platforms is preferred.
- Experience collaborating with intelligence community partners on cyber-related issues.
- 8570 Classification IAT –II & CSSP Certification.
