Job Title: NetOps Administrator

Adapt Forward is seeking a highly skilled NetOps Administrator to support our mission-critical project for the Naval Information Warfare Center-Atlantic (NIWC-LANT) Certified Cybersecurity Service Provider (CCSP).

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented individual to deploy and maintain enterprise network infrastructure systems, including physical and virtual network infrastructure, and to support the deployment of enterprise network infrastructure systems in the areas of physical and virtual network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend planning sessions to understand business and technical requirements.
  • Adhere to and follow change management policies that facilitate a stable, well-documented network infrastructure that meets organizational requirements.
  • Ensure incidents and service requests adhere to established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Pursue professional development opportunities through certifications, training, or conferences that enhance both technical and non-technical skillsets relevant to their role within the organization.
  • Submit written and verbal status reports as requested by management staff.
  • Maintain and support the enterprise and facility network infrastructure.
  • Support and maintain Cisco AnyConnect Remote Access Platform to include certificate authentication, dynamic access policies, and hostscan.
  • Support and maintain Palo Alto firewalls, VPN, and Global Connect clients.
  • Support and maintain VmWare, AWS, and other on-premises and virtual networking components.
Qualifications
  • US Citizen.
  • B.A or B.S. in a degree such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology, or 7 years related experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Enterprise Networking.
Desired Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years experience with AWS networking.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience with VmWare.
  • Demonstrated experience with Linux networking or F5.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with Palo Alto.
  • Intermediate knowledge of networking and systems administration, and the ability to troubleshoot problems.
  • Experience with Wireshark, TCPDump, and analyzing network traffic.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Virtual Private Networks (VPN), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and associated technologies preferred.
  • Proven skills in discussing and planning application architecture with cross-functional application, business, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Demonstrated experience with NGINX.
  • Preferred applicants will also be familiar with government information assurance standards, including DISA STIGs, NIST 800-53, IAVM management, auditing, and the Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation processes.
Required Certifications
  • 8570/8140 Compliant Certification.
Preferred Certifications
  • CCNP OS cert requirements.
  • VmWare VCP.
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner.
