About This Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Worker to join our team at Butler Hospital, providing exceptional care to patients with mental health needs. As a Mental Health Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and therapeutic environment for our patients.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a patient advocate, supporting patients in their daily activities and ensuring they receive the best possible care. You will work closely with registered nurses to provide direct care to patients, focusing on their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist registered nurses in the direct care of patients, prioritizing their physical and emotional needs.
  • Provide support to patients in their daily activities, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Create a safe and therapeutic environment, observing and monitoring patients to ensure their well-being.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a social science or comparable behavioral health experience.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Experience working with mentally ill and/or developmentally delayed clients.
