Responsibilities

  1. Drive a lively and engaging store environment for customers and colleagues alike.
  2. Engage multiple clients at the cash wrap and create a lasting impression by offering personalized service.
  3. Accurately and efficiently process register/POS transactions, sales, returns, exchanges, and more.
  4. Ensure accurate pricing and ringing of merchandise, using price overrides when necessary to charge the correct current price.
  5. Manage customer expectations, clearly communicating product information, care, maintenance, timeframes, and delivery.
  6. Affirm purchases and offer additional merchandise suggestions to complement and complete initial selections.
  7. Ensure customers are aware of all promotions impacting sales.
  8. Share product information, in-store events, and workshops to enhance the customer experience.
  9. Maintain visual standards and supplies of the cash wrap area.
  10. Maximize resources to meet customer needs and resolve issues.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by management, adhering to Company policies and procedures.
  12. Foster an environment where all associates are treated fairly and with dignity and respect, aligning with our People-First Philosophy.

  4. Knows how to ask customers the right questions to understand their personal style and needs.
  5. Succeeds in a team environment while working independently and managing own tasks.
  6. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  7. 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role.
  8. Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  9. Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
  10. Ability to operate the POS system.
  11. Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds, while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
  12. Full-time associates require open availability to meet business needs. Part-time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend and two during the week.

Physical Requirements

  1. Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
  2. Ability to operate the POS system.
  3. Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds, while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.

  6. This role offers a competitive compensation package, including pay and benefits. Pay is based on factors such as education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. The anticipated pay range for this role is $19.97 - $20.97 per hour/annual salary.
