We are seeking a skilled Physician to join our team at Conviva Care Centers in El Paso, TX. As a Physician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical care to patients in an outpatient setting, focusing on continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of health-related problems, using your expertise and judgment to make informed decisions.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring that patient information is secure and confidential.
- Refer patients to specialists as needed, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Current and unrestricted medical license in the state of Texas (or willingness to obtain one).
- Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program from a reputable university.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (Geriatric Medicine preferred).
- Active and unrestricted DEA license.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team-based care environment and adapt to a value-based care setting.
- Basic computer skills, including email and electronic medical records (EMRs).
- Minimum of two to five years of directly applicable experience in a similar role.
- Experience managing Medicare Advantage panels and understanding of best practices in coordinated care environments.
- Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
- Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators.
