Established in 1987, Eagle Fire Inc. has become a premier provider of fire protection solutions, including fire sprinkler systems, life safety services, special hazards systems, fire alarm services, access control systems, and fire extinguisher sales and maintenance. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated Fire Protection Project Coordinator to support our operations in the Southeast region.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Fire Protection Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects related to fire safety systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the primary liaison for installation and repair projects, coordinating and directing technical teams involved in the execution of the project.
- Collaborate with clients' representatives and other technical disciplines to ensure project alignment.
- Manage project logistics by requisitioning and organizing the necessary materials, equipment, and tools required for successful project completion.
- Work closely with Sales, Design, and Area Management to establish project goals and engage with supervisors and technicians on project-related matters.
- Coordinate with field labor management to develop staffing schedules that ensure timely project execution.
- Maintain accurate documentation for company records, client files, and regulatory compliance as necessary.
- Communicate project discrepancies, schedules, and critical updates to the company and client representatives.
- Participate in pre-submittal meetings, project reviews, and job cost discussions, keeping detailed records of these interactions.
- Handle administrative tasks such as completing timesheets, preparing billing reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Oversee and direct subcontractors as required throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support project objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Good mechanical aptitude and familiarity with trade tools and equipment.
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Willingness to travel for extended periods as required.
- Adherence to company policies regarding controlled substances and alcohol.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the fire protection sector.
- NICET Level III certification is a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Capability to stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working at heights exceeding 10 feet.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, crouching, reaching, handling, pushing, and pulling.
- Willingness to work in extreme temperatures and noisy environments.
